Events

Events are the most open and informal side of Scuola della Luce.

Often free to attend, they offer a chance to meet, exchange ideas, and begin exploring a photographer's vision and creative world without committing to a workshop or a Journey.

During these gatherings, photography rarely stands alone. Instead, it enters into dialogue with other arts and forms of expression. Anastasia Taylor-Lind transformed her experience as a war photojournalist into poetry; in New York, photographers and a magician came together to explore the relationship between magic and the art of making images; Cecília Coca reflected on Guido Guidi's landscapes through the lenses of art theory and philosophy.

In these moments, photography reveals another side of itself. When it encounters another language, both are transformed—and those who take part leave with far more than they expected.
